Portoro Imperiale marble is also known as Portovenere marble, as it comes directly from the Gulf of Poets, where Byron and Shelley found inspiration for their most beautiful works. The golden veins that cross its black background highlight the precious nature of the stone, making it unique and unrepeatable.
